About me

As a designer driven by a passion for solving complex problems, I approach challenges by asking the right questions and deeply understanding the context. This mindset was honed during my education in Europe, where I earned a unique double master’s degree from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London—two of the world’s foremost institutions for design and innovation. My global perspective was further enriched through studies at Tsinghua University in Beijing and Chengdu University of Technology, deepening my knowledge of design ethics and manufacturing processes.

In my career, I’ve led transformative design initiatives, most notably creating a luxury health wearable ecosystem that included a wrist-worn device, a ring, and smart textiles. Taking this project from concept to production required harmonizing craftsmanship, engineering, and cost management—a testament to my ability to balance innovation with practicality. My work has been showcased at exhibitions like San Francisco Design Week and featured by major outlets, including Reuters and The Independent.

With expertise in CAD design, prototyping, and human-centered product development, I excel in fast-paced, innovative environments. I am committed to delivering design solutions that not only address user needs but also redefine possibilities. Whether developing intricate assemblies or refining seamless user experiences, my goal is to create impactful, meaningful products that resonate.

I am an industrial designer and data-driven researcher. I have 3+ years of industry expertise in complex technical problem spaces and my fascination for human behaviour and experience drive my approach to problem-solving in product and service design.

Since graduating with a dual master’s degree M.A/MSc from RCA and Imperial College, I have honed my skills as a multidisciplinary designer who can drive cross-disciplinary collaboration and uncover impactful solutions to complex design challenges.

At my current position as a Technical Tutor at Ravensbourne University, I teach UX Design and Industrial Design students in design processes and research methodologies, as well as industry-level CAD software and prototyping methods.

At the same time, as a freelancer at Long Distance LLC, I work directly with the CEO to lead the end-to-end design of a fully functioning smart wrist wearable from ideation to manufacturing. I am collaborating with a diverse team of senior engineers, UX designers, external suppliers, manufacturers and brand agencies to balance constraints and drive the product forward.

• Continuously problem-solved Solidworks challenges oncomplex CAD models while ensuring engineering andmanufacturing standards were met.• Worked with lab users to develop works-like and looks-like product prototypes, progressing from concept sketch-es and CAD models in Solidworks to scaled prototypes and full-size mock-up fabrication.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot 3D Printing farms, laser cutters, CNC and other heavy machinery and digitalfabrication equipment.

• Lead key design areas such as human factors design, materials research, CAD, and packaging across a luxury health wearable ecosystem synced to an intuitive avatar-based app. Ecosystem includes wrist-worn wearable, ring, smart textiles such as running shoes and vests.
• Coordinated with UX design lead and head of engineering by negotiating product aesthetics and function while preserving technical requirements for the development ofthe holistic digital and physical user experience.
• Spearheaded end-to-end production of a smart wrist wearable from inception to manufacturing by balancing craftsmanship, cost, and engineering through liaising with external suppliers, manufacturers, and brand agencies.
• Produced expandable design language and brand identity for smart device ecosystem and packaging functions.

R&D Support Engineer

• Played a key role in developing an insect-based protein production facility, pioneering sustainable protein production.
• Coordinated multiple key projects, in a challenging fast-paced environment and oversaw prototyping, development, and documentation for a series of automation experiments for components producing insect-based protein.
• Led the building of a new prototyping lab and established standard operating and safety procedures.
• Impacted future machinery design and redevelopment of facility-wide spaces ensuring seamless operation and adherence to performance specifications.
• Conceptualized hardware layouts and workflows and developed detailed designs using CAD software, utilizing an iterative process while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Designed and built jigs and fixtures to test and validate the performance of key metrics in collaboration with a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists.
• Documented assembly instructions, and operating procedures and produced an analytical research report; further leveraged as a guide for the next iteration of components.
